Responsibilities

• Verify and correct structural details using project data and calculations.
• Estimate material quantities for bids, construction, and costs.
• Coordinate with designers to ensure drawings meet engineering computations.
• Suggest design adjustments for simplicity and constructability.
• Apply trigonometry and geometry to determine reinforcing lengths and plate dimensions.
• Help review drafting standards and participate in detailing meetings.
