Job summary

Genesis Staffing is seeking Structural Designers with REVIT software experience for long-term work in Perry, FL, supporting chemical, paper, energy, and heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities include conceptualizing and detailing plans, coordinating with engineers and other designers, reviewing scope and vendor information, and ensuring adherence to design standards and schedules. Strong communication, 3D Revit proficiency, and knowledge of AutoCAD/Plant 3D preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience using Revit for 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Plant 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and prepare plans, layouts, sections, details, and BOMs.
• Develop designs consistent with codes and client requirements; coordinate with engineers.
• Review project scope and vendor information; assist in design planning.
• Coordinate with other departments as required.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and deviations.
• Self-review design deliverables for accuracy and constructability.
• Adhere to design standards and update them as required.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.

Structural Designer - Perry, Florida

• Conceptualize and prepare plans, layouts, sections, details, and bills of materials to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements.
• Develop designs consistent with good practices, client requirements, and conformance to codes and standards; coordinate with engineers and other designers for carrying out the design work, and to meet the schedules of the deliverables.
• Review project scope and vendor information and assist in design planning.
• Coordinate with associates in other departments as required.
• Identify and resolve any potential conflicts, problems, changes or deviations in designs.
• Perform self-review of all the design deliverables prepared for accuracy and constructability.
• Adherence to the department’s design standards and assist others to ensure compliance in the designs and updating them as required.
• Able to communicate clearing and articulately, verbally and in writing.

• CSA uses Revit for 3D and AutoCad
• Plant 3d exp preferred
