Job summary

Greyscale Architecture, a boutique luxury firm in Roseville, is building its in-house structural team. You will design the bones of luxury homes, wildfire rebuilds, multifamily housing, and commercial spaces, collaborating closely with the architect on fast-moving projects.

The role requires a BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering, an EIT/FE in calendar, and 0–3 years of experience. Real Revit skills are essential for model walkthroughs and design iterations.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT certificate, or the FE exam on your calendar.
• 0 to 3 years of experience (internships count).
• Real Revit skills. Be ready to walk us through a model.
• Working knowledge of ASCE 7, NDS, and the CBC.

Responsibilities

• Gravity and lateral design for wood-frame custom homes, including high snow load mountain sites and WUI fire rebuilds.
• Structural design for multifamily, ADU, and missing-middle housing.
• Exterior elevated element inspections and repair design (SB 721 / SB 326).
• Commercial TI, industrial, and church projects in steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Build structural models and sheets in Revit and prepare calc packages.
