Job summary

GRAEF is seeking a Structural Engineer for our Minneapolis, MN office. You will design and analyze structural systems across healthcare, education, multi-family, hospitality, and commercial projects, coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The role emphasizes CAD work in Revit and support for construction administration. A bachelor’s in civil engineering with a structural focus is required; a master's or 1 year of experience is preferred. EIT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred or 1 year of professional experience in structural design of buildings.
• EIT certification a plus.
• Experience with Revit a significant plus; familiarity with structural engineering software is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for diverse building projects.
• Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
• Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit.
• Assist senior staff with construction administration and construction management projects.
