Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Designer with 5+ years of experience in the A/E industry, including exposure to semiconductor facilities and Tool Install projects. You will develop structural design drawings, models, and construction documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support the installation of complex equipment within industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural CAD/Revit design experience in the A/E industry.
• Experience working on semiconductor facilities or advanced manufacturing.
• Familiarity with tool install requirements, including equipment anchorage and support design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; experience with 3D modeling tools preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk building systems software and cloud-based collaboration.
• Understanding of structural systems, materials, and detailing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural design drawings, models, and construction documents using AutoCAD or Revit.
• Perform structural layout and detailing for semiconductor fabrication facilities.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process, and architectural teams.
• Assist in equipment support structures, anchorage, and seismic bracing design.
• Review vendor drawings and loads for proper structural integration.
• Conduct field investigations and support construction activities.
