Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Industrial/Semiconductor Mechanical Designer to join our team.

You will manage multi-project drafting and design for HVAC, fire protection and specialty piping for advanced manufacturing and technology markets. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree and 5–10 years of HVAC/mechanical design experience, with proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD, and exposure to cleanrooms and semiconductor facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
• 5–10 years of HVAC/mechanical design experience.
• Experience with P&ID’s, cleanroom exhaust abatement and central utility buildings; semiconductor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate HVAC and specialty piping system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration.
• Prepare preliminary schematics and final designs, calculations, equipment selection and layout.
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
