Your Role:
Tetra Tech’s High Performance Buildings Division is actively seeking a Structural Designer. The qualified candidate will demonstrate experience working with multiple drafting/modeling platforms to develop engineering drawings for various projects. This role requires working independently or as part of a team to improve drafting standards and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop structural models, drawings, and details using Revit for steel, masonry, concrete, and wood-framed buildings and foundations.
- Transform verbal instructions and rough sketches into accurate Revit models and drawings.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflows and minimize clashes within Revit models.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining structural model drawings throughout project lifecycle.
- Support the Structural Revit lead in enhancing templates, standards, and workflows.
- Analyze, interpret, and implement project-specific CAD requirements.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in CAD Drafting or Design Technology from a community college or technical trade school is required. Alternatively, three years of practical experience with proficiency in Revit may suffice.
- 4+ years of experience in structural drafting and design using the latest Revit versions.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Effective collaboration skills with designers, architects, and team members.
- Experience with industry standards and materials.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project goals.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

This role is flexible in location across the US. The pay range is $33.00 to $43.00 per hour, depending on experience and location. As a part-time role, benefits include 401K, paid time off, medical, disability, and insurance.
