Role Description

We are seeking a Structural Designer to join the team. This role involves developing structural drawings and BIM models in Revit, working closely with engineers to produce construction documents for a wide variety of projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a solid understanding of structural systems and documentation practices. You will play a key role in translating engineering concepts into clear, buildable drawings that align with design intent and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate construction drawings, structural details, and schedules using Revit Structure.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate sketches, notes, and calculations into complete drawing sets.
• Coordinate 3D models with other disciplines to support clash detection and integrated design.
• Organize, maintain, and archive project documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Assist in preparing submittals, revisions, and document transmittals for clients and contractors.
• Attend internal coordination meetings and support multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Support project engineers with drafting and minor design input as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience drafting structural building systems using Revit Structure.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines in a 3D modeling environment.
