Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an entry-level Structural Design Technician to join our Building Structures team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. You will perform structural design and drafting assignments and develop technical drawings using Revit, with AutoCAD as needed.

You'll coordinate work to maintain schedules and quality, and you will learn Kimley-Horn's practices and standards while contributing to project teams. The position offers a starting salary of $62,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Structural design/drafting assignments
• This person will develop technical drawings and plans using Revit
• Coordinates work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
• General understanding of AutoCAD and Revit (experience preferred but not required)
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Salary: $62,000
