Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Structural Design Engineer (Level 2) or Principal Structural Design Engineer (Level 3) in Clearfield, UT. You will contribute to air vehicle and subsystems design, using NX for 3D CAD and Teamcenter PLM to manage product data.

Requires a STEM degree and up to 5 years of related experience, with the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance. Strong problem solving and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 2 years of related experience; or Master’s Degree with 0 years.
• Professional experience in design and 3D CAD modeling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to difficult problems that are thorough, imaginative, practical, and consistent with objectives.
• Designs, researches, and develops engineering product definition across product life cycle.
• 2D and 3D Model Based Design (MBD) using NX.
• Collaborate with team to support programmatic goals and schedule.
• Knowledge and use of GD&T and tolerance stacks.
• PLM using Teamcenter.
