BlueScope is seeking a Professional Engineer I to design and analyze structures that support and shape the built environment. You will provide project coordination and structural design services, modeling for customers, and ensure safety and performance of structures.

Responsibilities include developing detailed member and connection designs, meeting schedules, and collaborating with project teams to deliver cost-efficient solutions. A BS in Civil Engineering and PE license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in structural design and project coordination helpful.

Responsibilities

• Uses engineering systems and drawings to provide project coordination and structural design services.
• Develops member and connection designs that meet customer requirements.
• Assures structural integrity and safety of buildings.
• Maintains knowledge of products, procedures, and department goals to support profitability and continuous improvement.
• Prepares structural quotes and supports customers on projects.
