Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer - Structural to join our Baltimore team. You will design temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects, developing calculation submittals and shop drawings while supporting bids.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree (FE exam preferred), proficiency with CAD tools, and strong communication. We value detail-oriented, collaborative professionals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 0–2 years in design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structures preferred.
• FE exam completed.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis.
• Previous construction field experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quickly changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication are required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design a wide variety of temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure and heavy civil projects.
• Develop calculation submittals and design/shop drawings; support bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Support other engineers and coordinate with design and field teams; assist senior engineers with assigned duties.
