Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a motivated StructuralEIT for roles in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA. You will design and draft a wide range of structures for public and private clients, employing concrete, wood, steel, and masonry while coordinating with engineers and landscape architects.

Requirements include 2+ years in structural drafting, a Civil Engineering degree with structural emphasis, and preferred US EIT licensure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of structural drafting & design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis; US EIT licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of a variety of structures.
• Create construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and landscape architects during design.
• Assist with structural condition assessments and write reports.
• Visit job sites and review submittals with contractors.
