HUNT is seeking a Structural Engineering Designer to join our team and contribute to design and delivery of building projects across markets. You will work with licensed engineers and a multidisciplinary team to develop structural designs from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of structural design experience, proficiency with STAAD, RAM, Revit and AutoCAD, and an active EIT license. Offices include Horseheads, Rochester and Towanda.

Qualifications

• Understanding of structural engineering principles related to building design.
• Complete structural analysis for steel, concrete, masonry and wood.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE-7).
• Team collaboration across disciplines and effective communication.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; EIT license required.
• 2-5 years of experience in structural design.

Responsabilités

• Design, analyze and document structural systems for building projects.
• Develop structural models and prepare construction drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams and assist with construction administration.
• Perform field observations and inspections as needed.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure code compliance.
