Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks a Design Engineer – Structural/Bridge for our Empire State Building office in New York, NY. This role focuses on design and analysis of bridges and transportation facilities, including rehabilitation and seismic retrofit projects.

You will perform quality assurance, assist on Design Build pursuits, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with NY agencies such as MTA/NYCDOT/NYSDOT. A strong background in civil/structural engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; PE license preferred in NY.
• Master’s degree is a plus for advanced design work.
• Experience with bridge design and rehabilitation projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, including rehabilitation and seismic retrofit.
• Quality assurance on transportation projects and contract document production.
• Mentor entry level staff and review submittals from design teams.

## Structural Design EngineerApply: Empire State Building, New York, New York: Full time: Posted Today: JR6234**STV currently has openings for Structural Design Engineer in our Transportation group based in our Empire State Building office in New York, NY.** **Field Locations in NYC Metro Area** We are seeking a**Design Engineer – Structural/Bridge** who is a proficient engineer in the field, who uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical site condition issues. This individual will be responsible to perform design of new bridge components and/or their rehabilitations, quality assurance, mentor entry level staff.
