Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Senior Transit Architect to join our team in New York, New York. You will lead design efforts on innovative transit projects that shape the communities served.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes.

Apply now and be a part of our dynamic and talented team!Key responsibilities will include working with, and coordinating, an architectural/engineering team in developing designs and preparing documents for projects focused on transportation, especially transit. The ideal candidate will support projects over the full life cycle from initial design phases through detailed construction document phase of projects requiring interface and collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants. The successful candidate will be skilled and experienced in the following:· Prepares Architectural plans, and/or supervises their execution.· Performs analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.· Oversees research used in writing specifications, including coordinating with manufacturers.· Conducts site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes, preparing interpretive reports.· Executes code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.· Develops design layouts, and construction features, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.· Coordinates with other disciplines. Plan, schedule, coordinate, manage, and oversee the work.Required Experience:· Professional Degree in Architecture (M.
