Job summary

Ateeca Inc is seeking an experienced engineer in the Charleston area to develop, modify and integrate payload systems and interior components for aerospace programs. You will coordinate with engineering, production and suppliers to ensure product definitions meet all lifecycle stages.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in design, integration or certification, with strong FAA Title 14 Part 25 or EASA knowledge and aerospace interiors experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience including design, integration and/or certification.
• Strong understanding of FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes.
• Experience in program or project management and leading project/proposals.

• Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D CAD tools to provide product definitions to engineering groups, production, suppliers and external customers throughout the lifecycle.

Job description

• Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience.
• Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes.
• Experience in program or project management, leading project and/or program proposals of varying complexity (including: development and execution of schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management, etc.).
