Job summary

Ateeca Inc is seeking an aerospace engineer in Everett, WA to contribute to cabin and cargo system design using state-of-the-art CAD tools. You will work across engineering teams to develop, modify and validate components throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience, with familiarity in FAA Part 25 or similar regulatory knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with engineering processes and tools (CSDT, CATIA, ENOVIA, PDM) and release processes.
• Experience with aircraft cabin and cargo engineering products and designs.
• Experience with aircraft cargo compartments, handling system design, integration or certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials.
• 5+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education/experience.

Job description

• Experience with engineering processes and tools; including CSDT, CATIA, ENOVIA, PDM, and associated release processes.
• Experience with aircraft cabin and cargo engineering products and designs
• Experience with Aircraft cargo compartment and handling system design, integration, and/or certification
• Develops, maintains and modifies basic structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences). 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
