Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural Design Coordinator/EIT in Charleston to contribute to building engineering projects across data centers and commercial facilities. You will conduct analyses, develop design options, and support cost estimates under guidance of senior engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, ETABS, SAFE or similar; EIT is preferred or will be pursued for career progression. Local candidates preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of “Coordinator” and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Local candidates preferred

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
