Job summary

CNH Industrial in the United States seeks a Structural Design Analyst to drive design development from concept to release. You will perform FEA simulations (linear, nonlinear, dynamic) to ensure durability and structural functionality of components for construction machinery.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3+ years in nonlinear FEA and fatigue analysis, with Abaqus (including Explicit), Hypermesh, Optistruct, and NCode fatigue software; experience in construction,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of nonlinear FEA and fatigue analysis of vehicle components.
3+ years with Abaqus (including Explicit), Hypermesh, Optistruct, and NCode fatigue software.
Industrial experience in construction, agricultural, automotive or aerospace sectors.

Responsibilities

Support concept phase and virtual validations of components/assemblies for construction machinery.
Perform static, modal, and dynamic FEA analyses.
Prepare finite element models following DA&S procedures.
Determine structural loads for validation and propose design improvements.
Manage simulation tasks through Validation Plans and CTS system.
