SteelFab, Inc. is seeking a Structural Connection Design Engineer to design bolted and welded connections forming dynamic structures. You will assess contract drawings, analyze load cases, and choose optimal connection options for strength and economy.
Proficiency with RAM, Risa, Bentley Structural, Tekla Structures, and Revit is required. The role includes 3D modeling, shop support during fabrication, and on-field engineering assistance during erection.
Qualificações
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- FE exam passed is required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and structural analysis software.
Responsabilidades
- Assess contract structural and architectural documents to identify design requirements.
- Analyze load cases and combinations.
- Evaluate connection options for strength, economy, and constructability.
- Design high-strength bolted connections.
- Engineer welded connections.
- Use RAM, Risa, Bentley Structural, etc. to analyze joints and connections.
- Create and coordinate 3D models using Tekla Structures, Revit, and related software.
- Support shop fabrication processes to ensure flawless execution.
- Provide on-site engineering support during field erection.
