Job summary

Coffman Engineers' Denver Office is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter to develop detailed drawings and project documents for a variety of projects. You will work with engineers and other design team members to ensure CAD standards, codes, and design parameters are met, while focusing on quality and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of drafting experience, a CAD training certificate or related degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit along with basic BIM skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years drafting and design experience (structural preferred).
• Certificate from a CAD training program or technical/associates degree in engineering or related field.
• Intermediate to advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.
• Design software proficiency with recent releases of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed structural drawings and project documents with engineers and design teams.
• Develop drawings in conformance with project specs, CAD standards, scope of work, and codes.
• Ensure high quality and on-time delivery of drafting and design assignments.
• Collaborate with multiple project teams and manage competing priorities.
