Job summary

Coffman Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced CAD/BIM Drafter to join our DC Metro office. You will develop and coordinate drawings and BIM models from engineer markups and project documentation, supporting conceptual planning through construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a technical/associate degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• 2+ years of BIM/CAD drafting and modeling experience in an engineering office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Produce drawings, exhibits, layouts, and construction documents across design phases.
• Incorporate redlines, design changes, and reviewer comments accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent deliverables.
• Assist with field verification, existing-condition documentation, and site surveys.
