Coffman Engineers, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter/Designer to join our collaborative team. You will create drawings and project documents from engineers using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows, contributing to on-time, high-quality deliverables.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in drafting, a technical or associate degree, strong CAD/BIM skills, and the ability to work with multiple project teams to produce isometrics and detailed graphics.

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in drafting and design (structural preferred).
Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred.
Possess advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.
Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD and REVIT design tools.
Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, BlueBeam, and graphics.
Able to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.
Works from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and simple isometric drawings.

Responsibilities

Create drawings and project documents from engineers using CAD/BIM platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
Independently complete design and drafting assignments with high quality and on-time delivery.
Produce isometric drawings and other detailed visuals from sketches.
