Responsibilities:

1. Lead design, prepare plans, estimates, and specifications for bridges
2. Perform structural analysis and design with a focus on Illinois Highway and Tollway structures
3. Review shop drawings
4. Mentor and train junior staff
5. Build and maintain client relationships
6. Inspect bridges and highway structures

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in structural design of bridges per IDOT standards
• PE and SE registration
• Experience in bridge inspection and qualification per FHWA
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design programs
• Working knowledge of MicroStation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
