Job summary

Treeline Biosciences seeks a Research Associate to join our Watertown, MA team, supporting drug discovery projects and delivering high-quality data. You will perform crystallography and biophysical experiments, collaborating across biophysics, biology, computational chemistry, and medicinal chemistry.

The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in life sciences and 2+ years of experience, with a track record in lab operations, protein expression or binding assays, and familiarity with crystallography

Qualifications

• BS./M.S. degree in biology/biochemistry/chemistry with 2+ years life sciences experience.
• Operate sensitive lab equipment (liquid handlers, imagers, microscopes).
• General lab techniques: pipetting, buffer preparation, etc.
• Deliver detailed results within defined timelines and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with protein expression or activity and binding assays.
• Preference for X-ray crystallography workflow and biophysical characterization (SPR, BLI, MST, ITC).
• Linux environment and/or Shell/Python scripting is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for science and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Become a key contributor to Structural Biology and Biophysics teams, supporting insights for multiple drug programs.
• Work with Treeline Lab Operations staff and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Lead Discovery team to characterize ligand binding and establish SAR.
