Job summary

RESPEC, an internationally recognized engineering consulting company, is seeking a Structural BIM Technician for onsite roles in Cheyenne, WY; Denver, CO; Rapid City, SD; and Sioux Falls, SD. This full-time, onsite position supports a multidisciplinary design team in drafting and modeling complex structures.

The role emphasizes Revit modeling, CAD work, and BIM library management, with opportunities to work with Forma and Bluebeam. Travel and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering/architectural drafting or related field.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (Revit and AutoCAD).
• Interest in emerging technologies.
• Strong visualization and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in Revit and leverage Autodesk Forma, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu to enhance workflows.
• Model wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures; produce plans, elevations, and details.
• Visualize complex structures to ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Curate and maintain BIM/CADD library and resources.
