Job summary

Actalent, Inc. in Detroit is seeking a Structural CAD/BIM Designer to develop 3D models and BIM deliverables for water and wastewater facilities, working with senior engineers in a hybrid in-office/remote setting.

You will produce detailed Rev it and AutoCAD drawings, coordinate with disciplinary teams, and help create contract documents while applying BIM standards and drafting best practices.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD experience in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in structural design and drafting for water/wastewater facilities.
• Ability to produce detailed contract drawings and construction documents.
• Hybrid work experience and ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed structural 3D models for water and wastewater facilities.
• Produce BIM deliverables, plans, sections, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines.
• Assist in creating construction drawings and contract documents.
• Follow BIM standards and drafting best practices across teams.
