Job summary

BSI Engineering LLC is seeking a Structural Designer in Cedar Rapids, IA to join our Civil/Structural team. The role focuses on developing and enforcing BIM standards using Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver quality drawings and models.

The engineer will mentor BIM users, manage content libraries, and ensure accuracy of 2D/3D deliverables. A hybrid work arrangement is provided, with in-office collaboration required at least three days

Qualifications

• Experience with Revit and Navisworks.
• BIM workflows and generating/maintaining project drawings/models.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• 5+ years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM workflow and standards in Revit.
• Support project startup workflows and ensure documents are set up correctly.
• Oversee BIM/Revit usage and assist with issue resolution.
• Provide end-user training and leadership within the department.
• Create content libraries and templates; perform periodic model audits.
