You will review calculation templates (Excel & Mathcad), translate engineering logic into algorithms, build Python/VBA scripts, and document workflows.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil Structural or Mechanical Engineering (junior/senior/MS).
• Proficient with Excel; VBA a bonus.
• Some coding experience (Python preferred, MATLAB OK).
• Strong problem-solving and interest in engineering-automation crossover.

Responsibilities

• Review calculation templates (Excel & Mathcad) for beams, columns, braces, and connections.
• Translate engineering logic into easy-to-follow algorithms.
• Build simple automation scripts (Python or VBA).
• Document workflows with flowcharts and decision trees.
• Test and validate your work against real engineering designs.
