Job summary

Textron Systems in Utah is seeking a Structural Analyst II/III to perform static and dynamic analyses of flight vehicles within the Strategic Missiles Business Line. You will work with CAD models, FEA tools, and Textron software to assess structural characteristics and responses.

Responsibilities include presenting results in reports, recommending design changes, and delivering clear analyses. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years' experience (Level II).
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years' experience (Level III).
• Experience using COTS tools Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB and a working knowledge of Textron software.
• Strong documentation and communication skills using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a structural analyst performing static and dynamic analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area.
• Use COTS tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and Textron software to generate structural characteristics and responses.
• Define changes to improve performance/efficiency of structural design features.
• Summarize results and design techniques in presentations and analysis reports.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
