Tiberius Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Structural Analysis & Test Engineer to validate the structural integrity of mechanical assemblies and electronic hardware for aerospace systems.

The role covers analysis and test ownership, translating requirements into loads, verification plans, and test requirements, including static strength, fatigue, vibration, and thermal-structural interaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing structural analysis and supporting physical testing of hardware.
• Strong foundation in solid mechanics, structural dynamics, fatigue, vibration, shock, and thermal stress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain load flows from system requirements to subsystems and components.
• Define load cases, boundary conditions, and verification approaches for hardware and environments.
• Perform static structural analysis of metallic and composite hardware and enclosures.
• Evaluate stress, deformation, stiffness, buckling, and margins of safety.
• Develop and validate FE models with meshing, materials, contact, and results interpretation.
• Assess high-cycle fatigue in metallic structures and electronics assemblies.
• Conduct modal, random-vibration, shock, and time-domain analyses to evaluate survivability.
• Support nonlinear analyses like contact, preload, and plasticity when required.
• Prepare technical reports and verification plans.
