Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Marlborough, MA seeks an early-career Structural Engineer to join the Mechanical Analysis and Test Department onsite. You will contribute to complete lifecycle work—from design trades through qualification testing to production support.

You will perform detailed structural analyses, develop test plans, validate models with test data, and present findings to stakeholders. Travel to test sites and collaboration with a large team are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years without a degree.
• Experience in structural analysis software (PATRAN/NASTRAN/ANSYS/ABAQUS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analyses to support all program phases.
• Generate test plans to validate analyses and verify hardware against requirements.
• Analyze test data to validate models and derive loads/environments.
• Collaborate with experienced analysts on moderately complex problems under cost/schedule constraints.
• Coordinate and lead technical peer reviews to ensure accuracy of work.
• Present results to internal stakeholders and external customers.
