Insight Global is seeking a Remote Compressor Design Engineer (Analysis Focus) to join their client based out of Greenville, South Carolina. The design engineer will focus on analyzing turbine components and presenting in design reviews. Responsibilities include building 2D and 3D finite element models in Ansys of Gas Turbine components. The role involves:
Additionally, the engineer will build and debug ANSYS models, document lessons learned and best practices, and handle host processing. The candidate should be capable of running simulations, post-processing, and summarizing results for both 2D and 3D designs. The role may start with design process, CTQs, and standard post-processing tools, then progress to executing on fielded or new designs, with documentation across internal teams.
