Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the STRTP program in Monterey County, supervising staff, partnering with families and providers, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

You will support day-to-day operations, promote safety and learning, and drive program excellence in a mission-driven environment. Strong leadership and compliance with STRTP standards are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in behavioral science plus two years of social work experience in a children-focused agency or residential setting.
• Bachelor’s degree plus at least three years’ administrative/supervisory experience over staff providing direct services to children in licensed facilities.
• Demonstrated record of effective supervision and leadership of diverse program teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex tasks.
• Effective facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills; ability to build cross-team relationships.
• At least 21 years of age and TB/fingerprint clearance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the STRTP and assist the director in program quality and operations.
• Act as STRTP Administrator and supervise program managers, direct care, and admin staff.
• Provide leadership to staff and cultivate a safe, engaging program culture.
• Ensure care and supervision compliant with laws, licensing, and facility policies.
• Coordinate with county offices, school districts, and community providers; organize partner trainings.
• Engage in data-based program assessment to guide improvements.
