Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System in Ellicott City, MD is seeking an Occupational Therapist II for the Stroke Unit. You will deliver advanced OT services, evaluate patients, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with standards and ethics.

The role requires a Master's degree, MD OT license, and at least one year of licensed OT experience. You will mentor staff, participate in performance improvement, and maintain documentation in medical records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Maryland OT licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced occupational therapy services through evaluation of patient needs and development of treatment plans.
• Mentors clinical team members and students.
• Documents evaluations and treatment plans in medical records.
• Communicates results and plans to patients, families, and team members.
• Identifies and escalates clinical or operational issues to leadership.
• Assists in equipment selection, care, and maintenance.
