Job summary

Meritus Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Stroke/Telemetry unit on the Dayshift. The role involves 72 hours Biweekly coverage from 6:30am to 7:00pm, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

The unit specializes in stroke care, telemetry, general medical treatment and requires a Maryland RN license or compact state license. Ideal candidates have an ASN, may hold a BSN, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education - ASN required. BSN Preferred.
• Experience - Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required.
• Licensure/Certification - Maryland RN license or Multi-State Compact with Maryland verification required. Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for stroke/telemetry patients on the 5 South unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document in the EHR.
