Job summary

Meritus Medical Center, part of Meritus Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 4 South Cardiac Telemetry unit. The role focuses on cardiac monitoring and comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care and timely discharge planning. The position offers a dayshift schedule, opportunities to strengthen cardiac skills, and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• ASN required to practice as an RN.
• BSN preferred for advancement and leadership paths.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care for cardiac, telemetry, and medical patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as prescribed.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and collaborate with the care team.
