Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is seeking a Stroke Coordinator to lead and coordinate all stroke services for the assigned community. The role acts as a liaison among LIPs, nursing staff, allied health professionals, patients and families to ensure continuous, evidence-based stroke care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1–3 years in ED/ICU/acute care setting is required.
• Experience in process improvement or leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary stroke care with LIPs and nursing.
• Provide clinical resources and consultation for stroke patients with complex needs.
• Lead education and training for stroke care for staff and community.
• Ensure compliance with stroke accreditation guidelines.
