Job summary

The Nurse Stroke Coordinator at Singing River Health System leads the stroke program across the continuum of care, partnering with the Medical Director and neuroscience teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

This role serves as a clinical liaison to physicians, nurses, therapists and families, oversees process improvement, and provides staff education to advance evidence-based stroke care within SRHS’s Ocean Springs facilities.

Qualifications

• Nursing leadership experience with stroke programs.
• BSN preferred; MSN advantageous for advanced practice.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the stroke program development, implementation and evaluation.
• Serve as clinical liaison to physicians, nurses, therapists and families.
• Oversee process and performance improvement for stroke care.
• Provide staff education to advance evidence-based stroke practices.
