This role combines clinical oversight with administrative responsibilities to drive program success and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has an Illinois RN license, a Bachelor’s degree, AHA CPR certification, and preferably 3+ years in RN neuro/stroke roles.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Preferred 3+ years RN Neuro/Stroke experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership for the stroke program.
• Coordinate operations to ensure quality patient care across the hospital.
• Develop goals to deliver patient-centered, cost-efficient care.
• Oversee stroke program regulatory accreditation and guidelines.
• Review Stroke/Neuro cases daily and respond to Code Strokes.
• Identify care process improvements from stroke care trends.
• Develop and revise standards of care and clinical pathways.
• Collect data to meet Advanced Primary Stroke Center targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and other services for staff education.
