Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks a Manager of the Stroke Program to lead the department and drive quality improvement.

This role ensures adherence to evidence-based guidelines, coordinates with physicians and nursing staff, and maintains accreditation readiness across the stroke continuum. The position requires RN licensure with at least 2 years of RN experience in Stroke, ER, or ICU, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

  • RN license/registration required.
  • BS in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience in Stroke, ER, or ICU.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall stroke program and ensure guidelines compliance.
  • Review admissions, medical records, and outcomes data to verify program quality.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet accreditation standards and improve care.
  • Educate clinical staff on stroke signs, NIH stroke scale, and treatment protocols.
  • Coordinate performance improvement activities with nursing units and educators.
  • Lead community outreach and participate in Stroke Services Committee activities.
