Job summary

GW Hospital is seeking a Stroke Coordinator to support the Nurse Manager in leading the Stroke Program, promoting staff proficiency in stroke care, and developing interdisciplinary strategies for coordinated patient care. The role includes direct patient care in the stroke service and guiding quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include a BSN with progressive leadership experience; CNRN certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and registered to practice
• Progressive leadership background preferred
• Certification in Neuroscience (CNRN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for the Stroke Program
• Develop interdisciplinary strategies for coordinated stroke care
• Mentor staff and ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety
• Coordinate performance improvement activities for the stroke service line
• Manage data collection and reporting for stroke-related outcomes
