Qualifications

• National certification as a PA or NP is required.
• Eligible for Washington state licensure.
• Prior stroke or inpatient neurology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in acute stroke evaluations and rapid assessments.
• Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning of stroke patients.
• Perform daily rounds and coordinate care with teams.
• Educate patients and families on stroke treatment.
• Participate in stroke quality metrics and performance improvements.

Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
