Ravenscroft School seeks a Strings Artist-in-Residence to join the Fine Arts Department on a part-time basis. You will teach Lower School Strings, assist with Middle School Strings, and provide private violin and viola lessons to students across all divisions.

Ideal candidates are musician-educators who enjoy working with young students, collaborate well with colleagues, and communicate professionally with families.

Qualifications

• Exceptional musicianship with proficiency in viola and violin.
• Prior classroom teaching experience.
• Strong, professional communication and organizational skills.
• Genuine desire to work with students in Grades K-5.

Responsabilités

• Teach Lower School Strings courses to support a large LS program.
• Assist with Middle School Strings courses.
• Provide private violin/viola lessons across LS-MS-US.
• Attend and support all rehearsals and performances for taught students.
• Collaborate with at least four Strings Instructors and with Music/Band/Choir.
• Engage with families through Ravenscroft's Fine Arts Association.
