Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company in Willoughby, OH is seeking Stringlight Assemblers to join our production team. This role involves repetitive assembly of stringlight units prior to overmolding and requires following CAD drawings and procedures with precise hand and tool work.

The position is union-friendly and offers steady day-shift work with alternative early shifts (4:00 AM–2:30 PM, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will inspect, test, and ensure units meet specs while maintaining clean, safe workstations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform any assembly-type function, using hand, power tools, small presses and fixtures.
• Manipulate cables and wires while staking/terminating electrical sockets according to specifications.
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
• Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.
• Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.
• Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
• Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
• Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
• Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.
• Perform related duties as needed by supervisor.
