Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an assembler - 2nd Shift to perform a variety of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools to build to spec.

Responsibilities include checking continuity of work in process and finished products, conducting quality inspections as required, and disassembling or reworking

Qualifications

• Soldering experience required.
• Mechanical build experience required.
• Bonding experience preferred.
• Wiring experience preferred.

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools.
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
• No weight over 50 lbs
