Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company in Willoughby, OH is seeking Stringlight Assemblers to join our team. This role involves assembling stringlight units using hand tools, fixtures and following CAD drawings and established procedures.

We offer a 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM shift (Mon–Thu) with additional early shifts available. The job requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform any assembly-type function, using hand, power tools, small presses and fixtures.
  • Manipulate cables and wires while staking/terminating electrical sockets according to specifications.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
  • Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.
  • Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.
  • Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
  • Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
  • Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.
  • Perform related duties as needed by supervisor.

6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – TH)


Other Shift Options include


  • 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (M-TH)

  • 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (M-TH)


General Purpose

Performs repetitive work-station tasks to produce stringlight assemblies prior to overmolding.
