Duit Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Stringless Survey Technician to join our concrete paving operations team. The role focuses on setting up and operating robotic total stations and managing a stringless paving system on a concrete slipform paver to ensure precise elevation and alignment.

You will work in varying weather, travel to job sites up to five hours away, and contribute to highway and infrastructure projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, able to show up on time and work long shifts.
• Willing to travel to job sites up to five hours from home with overnight stays.
• Basic computer proficiency to manage data, emails, and spreadsheets.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor stringless paving systems using robotic total stations and field computers.
• Ensure paving operations meet specified tolerances for grade and smoothness.
• Set up robotic instruments, check control points and benchmarks, and verify data against design plans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot survey and machine control equipment for reliable performance.
• Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times.
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform various tasks that may change with work conditions.
• Work within defined standards of accuracy.
• Work in weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
