Job summary

Millstone Weber, LLC is seeking a Stringless Paving Technician to join our concrete paving crew. You will use robotic total stations to control grade and alignment of pavers and assist survey technicians with staking on multiple heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities include setting up Leica Icon systems, running Leica and Trimble equipment, and ensuring grade quality. Flexibility for nights/weekends and a strong work ethic are important in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to a fluid, fast-paced paving schedule.
• Available to work some nights and weekends when required.
• Ability to quickly learn Leica equipment and software on the job training.
• Read roadway and construction plans and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the Leica Icon system.
• Run the trimmer with Leica equipment.
• Operate Trimble GPS, DiNi, and Total Stations.
• Set up Leica Total Stations and move ahead for paving operations.
• Check pavement grade for quality control.
